Mobility is the ability of joints and thus the body to move freely through their ideal Range of Motion (ROM) without restriction from surrounding tissues. This course is active and hands on and wholistically designed to integrate your existing skills with our instruction in patient engagement, active assessment and the effective techniques and movements of the Eastern Bodywork of Tui Na and Acupressure; unified theory of Qi Gong as well as modern principles of muscle activation to equip you to care for your patients by improving their Flexibility, Range of Motion and Mobility, as well as improve the function of their entire physical and energetic body. Dr. Brown will demonstrate the use of traditional and modern instruments for assisting in soft tissue manipulation, including: heat; vacuum cups; gua sha/scraping/Graston; mechanical acupoint activators; photobiomodulation; and microampere/milliampere point stimulation.
